Sunday Mornings
Community Groups Strive To:
Teach students God’s Word by
Encouraging them to study God's Word,
Apply God's Word and
Meditate on God's Word.
This time of study stresses Biblical and Doctrinal knowledge as well as practical life application.
Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you should meditate in it day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.”
Team Ministry Guidelines
Who: Students (6th through 12th grades)
What: Reaching students through the study of God's Word
Involving students in worship, accountability, fellowship, and prayer
Building relationships with students while ministering to their needs
When: Sunday Mornings @ 9:00 am
Where: The P.E.A.K.
Why: To aid students at Pitts Baptist in fulfilling its purpose statement.
Specifically Community Groups are designed to reach the “crowd” with the goal of growing
the individual students to a better understanding of who God is and who He wants to be in us.
How: By providing a fun and positive environment while engaging the TEAM member
with an understandable and applicable message through worship, teaching and conversation.
